The Shiksha predictor is a tool that provides an estimated possibility of admission based on the previous year's cutoff and other factors. However, it is important to note that the predictor is not always accurate and the actual cutoff may vary each year based on various factors such as the number of applicants, their scores, and other criteria. Therefore, while the predictor may provide an estimated possibility of admission, it is always advisable to keep a backup option and also keep checking the official website of the institute for the latest updates on the admission process and cutoffs.
I'd suggest ece. Because then you'll be able to deal with software side as well as hardware side.
Hi NITIN,
It is true that the closing rank id is seven lacs for MITS Gwalior, but do not worry, just participate in the counselling process wisely and smartly. Also, wait until the last round of the counselling process. At the same time, to be in the safer side, apply for some other colleges also.
The number of colleges you can get with your JEE Main rank of 11000 depends on the cutoff for NITs and IIITs which varies every year and depends on the number of applicants and their scores. However, newer NITs accept candidates with a rank greater than 70,000 in JEE Main. You can check the list of colleges accepting 50,000 to 75,000 rank in JEE Main 2023 for B.Tech admission. I hope this helps. Let me know if you want me to help you with anything else.

Hi A,
As your rank in KIITTE is 9504, so it will be a little bit difficult for you to get computer Science engineering in the first round itself. You can go for other courses in the first round. But you may get CSE, if you wait till the last round of the counselling process. Faculty members are very good.
Best of luck.
CSE/IT has the maximum scope but still opt for the engineering branch that you love the most and are most passionate about and analyse the future work conditions, scope and growth prospects before taking admission. You can also opt for psychometric test comprising of aptitude, personality and career interest to clear the confusion.
Generally, 200 is a cut-off for NITs for CSE. But, try to score above 220.

This college does not depend on the ranks they have their own exams, Yes you did absolutely right because as far as college is concerned on academic basis AKG and ABES are at the same level. If You want do the things by yourself then AKGEC is the worst college. If you will get selected offcampus in any software company then you will not get NOC from AKGEC, In my opinion you have done well because at this level all the software companies which will come to AKGEC also come to ABES. Administration of AKGEC is very bad, in the sense that they never support students. So do not regret you had made a good decision, college is only a platform. You... View more
