Hello Rajitha,IITs and NITs require the eligibility to have completed 10+2 education system in order to appear for JEE exams through which you can get admission in those colleges. Since Diploma holders don't satisfy this condition, you cannot get admission in IITs or NITs for architecture.

#ReadyToHelp,

Hi,
You can not predict the model or maximum marks for which the advanced exam will be set. You are talking about robotic engineering!
There is no such specified branch. You need to take a 5 year integrated course of CS+robotics. Or you need to complete b tech in CS or ECE and then take up a post graduation course (MS or M.Tech) in robotics. Anyways, first start preparing well for the exam. You are interested in a branch which is the most preferred. So you need to be ready to face immense competition.
All the best.

To get into the top engineering colleges one need to have a good knowledge of the fundamentals of the PCM subjects. Do not try to learn things-by-heart. Try to understand the fundamentals and the logic behind them so that you can solve similar problems with speed. Practice solving the problems more & more.

The basic reason behind most of the students not getting admission in IITs is lack of preparation in the right direction or underestimation of the toughness of IIT exam
Its two step process, you have to clear JEE Mains and then JEE Advance and you have to compete with roughly 12 to 13 Lacs applicants. Speed is also a major parameter, most of the students know around 80% of the paper but they are not able to complete due to slow speed. Mock practice papers before examination is the key for the same.

Hi Sai,
I am sorry to say that IIT doesn't allow lateral entry. You can not apply in IITs on the basis of Diploma. If you have to apply for IIT then after 10+2 take JEE then it is possible.

First, start preparing for JEE Mains, join a coaching institute for guidance. If you are economically weak then prepare for the same at home. Many students clear JEE Mains without any coaching.

Don't think about the cutoff, if you belong to the general category try to get 33% marks at least 130+ to secure a seat in good iits.
