Hi,
If you are asking about MHCET than following are the two top colleges of B.Tech CS accepting CET score.
1. College Of Engineering, Pune.
2. Veermata jijabai technology institute, Mumbai.
Syllabus of Computer Science and IT overlap between 80 to 90% in various universities. CS is the study of computers and computational systems. Computer scientists deal mostly with software and software systems; this includes their theory, design, development, and application. IT engineering is application of CS for enterprises to meet business goals. CS graduates can easily do both Application and Systems development whereas IT engineers are trained to work on application development. Indian IT industry prefers CS graduates over IT because CS is branch taken by toppers in all engineering entrance examinations.
Both are the best. But give preference to CSE if getting opportunity.
Hi Preshita,
Congratulations for CET score that you have obtained. As you have not mentioned your category, I will assume it to be general. What I have observed is, you need to score 175+ to get into COEP. Frankly speaking, you might not get an admission in COEP with this score under general category. Still, you can try in 2nd or 3rd round. All the Best.
You can become a software developer, or you can take job in any foreign or Indian MNCs as a code developer or managing the databases of the clients.
Dear Sachin, Fee structure for admission through CET is as per the KEA norms. Management quota fee is as below
<a rel="nofollow" target="_blank" href="http://vdrit.org/management-fee-structure/" style='word-wrap:break-word;'>http://vdrit.org/management-fee-structure/</a>
There are some other good universities like LPU, SRM, Manipal, etc, where you get scholarship, thus making the fee more affordable. Check their websites too.
Good luck.
Hi,
Basically, they both are focusing on same thing, but minute different is that apex is associated with highest studies also.

Hi Sanjay,
As your JEE Mains rank is 22824 and your board score is 94.77%, so you are eligible for all the nits. But, if you are determined in computer Science engineering then you should go for middle and lower order nits like NIT Patna, NIT Jalandhar, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Durgapur etc. But, apply for all the nits available in the list. Best of luck.
Hi,
All the branches of engineering are equally good and have tremendous job opportunities. It entirely depends on how well you understand and handle the stream and increase your scope of growth.
Some demanding branches of engineering are:
-Aeronautical engineering
-Automobile engineering
-Chemical engineering
-Civil engineering
-Computer science and engineering
-Electrical engineering
-Electronics and communication engineering
-Mechanical engineering, etc.
Different branches of engineering are popular at different places and the popularity depends upon the day to day requirement of that ... View more
It is good. Average package is approximately INR 3.4 lacs to INR 4 lacs per annum, and the highest package is approximately INR 14 lacs per annum.
Specialist in IT is not enough. You have to be the best in other things also. AI is hot right now, or at least parts of AI are hot: vision, deep learning, big-data mining, language technologies, biomedical applications of AI, robotics. Lot of companies are hiring, and there is a shortage of people with experience and training in this area. Good luck.
Greetings from Shiksha.
Kindly provide your boards Result as well as JEE Mains score. Then we can give you some idea that whether you will get admission or not in Techno India in Computer Science Engineering or Information Technology.
Hi,
Nowadays, Big Data, AI, cloud are much in demand but they need much comprehensive learning and certifications side by side. Please make sure you do it from the top universities to have an overall comprehensive learning.
If you belongs to sc/st category, then you will definitely get seat in the VVIT, Guntur. If not it will be difficult.
According to me, CSE in MAIT is better. It is the best college of IPU and placements for CSE department are also good. Here, placement is close to 100% for CSE department including some good companies and the rest are mass recruiters.
Almost in all top NITs. Try to go for NIT-Trichy, Warangal or Surathakal according to their priority in JOSAA followed by Rourkela.

The differences between the two are quite pronounced. IT professionals should enjoy installing computer systems, using software and maintaining networks and databases, while computer scientists should enjoy mathematics and software design. The major difference between both these field is that IT deals with the application of computing technology to real life processes, while, Computer Science deals with the Science that facilitates these applications.
