AI is hot right now, or at least parts of AI are hot: vision, deep learning, big-data mining, language technologies, biomedical applications of AI, robotics. According to me, CSE in MAIT is better. It is the best college of IPU and placements for CSE department are also good. Here, placement is close to 100% for CSE department including some good companies and the rest are mass recruiters.
Almost in all top NITs. Try to go for NIT-Trichy, Warangal or Surathakal according to their priority in JOSAA followed by Rourkela.

For admission into heritage institute of technology you need to take WBJEE or JEE Mains exam. However the college has management quota so if you are willing to spend some money then you can get admission there.

No, it is not. JEE Mains is used only for admission Into undergraduate engineering programs in Central government colleges like NITs, IITs, etc.
For B.Sc computer science, only your board exams would d be used for admission. However, some colleges conduct entrance exams for admission.
