The minimum eligibility criterion required for the candidates is to possess a Bachelors degree in English or relevant disciplinefrom a recognised university with a minimum aggregate score of 60%. Admission to M.A. English is done on the basis of entrance tests.

This probably is something you have to figure it out based on your career plans and personal choices. Depends what kind of job you want to do, what type of experience you had, in which field, etc. You can probably apply for an MBA. If you want to get into research or academics side you can do MS. PG Diploma courses are also good and are job ready. You have to make some comparison and decide what is best for you. It depends on your area of interest. If you want to take literature as your career, you should opt for MA in English. If a career in commerce attracts you, you should go for M.Com. There is no comparison in both the streams as they are completely different fields.

The RRB entrance test is the only route to gain a job in the Indian railroads. The RRB departments have been conducting admission exams for various positions.
