Hello,
Both are good field but CSE have slightly more value in comparison to IT. An IT career involves installing, organizing and maintaining computer systems as well as designing and operating networks and databases. Computer Science is focused entirely on efficiently programming computers using mathematical algorithms.

Hello Kashmir,
Presently, there are no rules for admission through management quota. However, the student need to have minimum eligibility prescribed for the course. Fees charged is closely guarded secret. It is actually euphemism for giving admission to children of rich parents who could not score much in qualifying exam, but is desirous of the course.

Both Colleges are great in terms of placements particularly in computer Science background geethanjali has my upvote. Wherever you join it's purely depends upon you're skill set and knowledge you acquired is important irrespective of the college's. One of my friend from tier 4 type college which was one of the black listed colleges in Hyderabad got placed with a very attractive package compared to geethanjali or top college's.

B.Tech CSE is the de facto the most accepted and preferred branch for hiring Computer Scienceof Information Technology professionals. CSE grads have upper hand over IT grads in initial career. In fact few companies pay little higher starting salaries to CSE grads over IT grads.
