While it's difficult to pinpoint an exact number, many universities in India offer integrated B.Com, M.Com or B.Com M.Com programs, and some examples include Tezpur University, Gauhati University, and Central University of Kerala, among others. Several universities offer 5-year integrated programs, with options for lateral exit with a B.Com degree after 6 semesters, followed by a lateral entry in the 7th semester for the M.Com.

If you are targeting to work in corporate world then CS and LLB is a very good combination which will help you an excellent career.
MBA or MMS are university affiliated programs, which means that the syllabus and grading is done by university. Degree from a good university is always preferable, as it will be recognized across the market.
PGDM are governed solely by a particular college.
PGDM will have a good value if done from a well-recognized (brand) college.
PGDM are designed with current management theories and according to the market (companies). So, the syllabus is always up-to-date.
Choose PGDM if you are getting admission in a good college. Or else MBA/MMS will be the right option.
Above three courses are best after B.Com. CA & CS are accountancy courses and MBA is a management course. But if you will do CA & CS, you will need time to complete. However, MBA is a very reputed course if it is done from a reputed institute and if you will do MBA from a reputed private institute, it will require heavy funds.
Best of luck.
It is advisable to go for BBA.

Unless a college is very poor in terms of student’s enrollment, no option to enroll for a full time college for doing the job. Reason is, in any well reputed colleges across India, a full-time program starts as early as 10 am and ends by 5 pm and it involves lot of activities. There are few colleges in Mumbai, Pune, Karnataka, Chatisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, etc. who do not have enough student to fill. The seats who allow you to appear for exam and other formalities without attending class but such MBA does not add any value neither they strengthen your learning nor they will be able to attract any corporate to the campus. Every field has its own scope. Firstly, try to find out the areas in which you are really interested. The next step should be to gain knowledge about that particular field. Finally, opt for the course which will help you to advance in the field of interest.

For the academic year 2023, the minimal cutoff for BBA at MIT ACSC was 80% for general category students and 75% for reserved category students. This was the admissions cutoff for the first round. Depending on the number of seats available and the number of applications received, the cutoff may have increased or decreased in successive rounds of admissions.

Hi Thimmaraj,
To decide on the course, you should analyse your strengths, career goals, interests, personality, aptitude and ability. If you decide based on these parameters you will put in your best effort and will be successful in your chosen field. Always remember, you should pursue a stream/course based on two things :
-your career goal
-the type of job you want to do
Please feel free to discuss more.
Wish you luck.
M.Com is a good course but rather than M.Com, you can go for some professional course like CMA (US) which can be completed within 8 months to 1 year and it is a prestigious course for your career. M.Com is a normal course and it has got the same topics like B.Com. So, be unique in your career.
All the best.
It will not be a problem, if you are able to justify your gap years with confidence and reasoning. If you have done job and have relevant experience, it will increase your success chances in placement process.
BCom will restrict you job opportunities to Finance & Accounting only but BBA from a reputed college will give you more opportunities in different industries in different management functions.
University of Toronto is one of the best universities.
MBA is a Masters degree and CA is a professional membership certification. CA can also be pursued along with or after completing a regular course and may be preferred if you have plans to offer consultancy services too.
Yes, this is a good option as many people are not able to cope up with both of the courses. It becomes slightly difficult to attend classes of both at the same time. In CA, you will cover every bit of financial sector and that would help you in near future while giving the final exams.

Hi Chansi,

You can certainly pursue a course in journalism along with B.Com. The only advice I would want to reach upto you is that Journalism is more of a field of practical learning, on field experiences and Live set ups. Pursuing a course through correspondence [Assuming that you're pursuing B.Com (regular)] will help you fetch a good degree but not a creative job because it would require practical experience into role play as far as journalism course is concerned.

Diploma in Journalism</st...
