JNU admission is conducted on the basis of entrance test. However, in order to be eligible, students must clear their Higher Secondary (10+2) with a minimum of 45% scoring. Hence, a scoring of above 45% will make you eligible for admission. However, in order to obtain JNU admission, students must appear for the CUET exam.

Admission in JNU's B.A. (Hons.) in foreign languages through CUET depends on cut-off scores, category-wise merit list, and number of seats available. For OBC category, the cut-off is generally lower than General, but it still varies each year depending on applicants. With 247 marks, your chances will depend on:
The language you are applying for (French, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, etc.).
Overall competition in CUET for that year.
JNU's official cut-off list.
It's best to check JNU's official CUET cut-off list for the current year to know the exact possibility.

As per the information available on the official website of the university, it does not mention BA (Hons) in Economics in the Bachelor of Arts subject. Thus, the university does not offer a BA (Hons) in the subject of economics. However, the university offers BA (Hons) courses in different subjects, such as foreign languages. Moreover, in the BA (Hons) course, applicants can choose Economics as one of the additional subjects. For more details regarding the same, students can visit the official website (jnu.ac.in) or get in touch with the admission office.
