Dear Fayis,
Yes, this is indeed a great option. This course is extremely useful and can be equivalent to MBA in finance. Nowdays, some good companies offering good post to these students. But Fayis, be careful. Kindly do your PGDBAM from a reputed government college with good marks, not from a private college.
Best of luck.

Hello Manjunath,
There is no such thing as "best" here. Both the courses have their own importance.
BBA is a professional degree where theoretical concepts like management information systems, fundamentals of Human Resource Management (HRM), Financial Law, and fundamentals of marketing are taught.
B.Com degree equips a student with fundamentals and concepts of Accountancy, Business Administration, Finance, Economics and Industrial Policies. After completing your B.Com, you can pursue M.Com from a recognized university.
On the basis of your interest area, you can choose one of them.
