For admission to BCom courses at Spoorthy Degree and Post Graduate College, students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. As per the Sardar Patel University official website, there are no specific marks mentioned for BCom admission. However, candidates must have at least 40-45% for admission to the BCom course. At SPU the BCom eligbility criteria requires candidates to have twelve years of school education 'conducted by the Gujarat Higher Secondary Education Board or an examination of any other statutory examination of any other University or examination body recognised as equivalent.'

As per the Sardar Patel University admission guidelines, BCom admission is entirely based on the merit lists. The merit lists are prepared on the basis of student sperformance in the last qualifying exam. However, the BCom course is offered across the affiliated colleges of SPU, which might have a different admission procedure. Doon Business School admission is expected to begin in August 2026.
