ICSI to be precise is Institution which takes exams and educates professionals but it is not any kind of college where you get to reside and there is no such hostel available specifically in the name of ICSI, definitely there are various branches/ chapters of institution all over India which can guide you throughout your preparations.

But when it comes to hostel and all you have to find out a residing place yourself in case if you are taking personal coaching for clearing the course from somewhere else as there is no personal hostels set up by the institution so far.

Practically, there is no such thing to be called as 'internal exams' of the institute, however there are online exams or you can call it as mock exams that the candidate is supposed to give before appearing for final physical exams, missing which the candidate will not be allowed to sit on the physical exams.

As once you clear the online mock exams you will be allowed to enroll for different group exams related to different levels, such mocks are mandatory generally at executive and professional level, missing which you will not be allowed to register yourself for your attempt or your exams.

No. There is no negative marking in the CMA exam, irrespective of the three course levels. Candidates can answer all questions without worrying about deduction of the marks. All questions in the CMA Foundation exam will fetch two marks each. While the questions in the CMA Intermediate and CMA Final course levels have different marks range. The maximum marks ranges from six marks to 15 marks per question. Candidates will not face any deduction of the marks, if the recorded answer is incorrect or the question is unattempted.

The passing score for all three levels of the CMA course levels is the same. Candidates securing a minimum of 40 per cent in all test papers and 50 per cent aggregate score pass the CMA exam. Candidates securing less marks even in one of the subjects will fail the entire group or course level for ICMAI CMA.
