Hi Abhineet,
There are very few colleges that provide BA in Acting in India like Whistling Woods International, Mumbai. But, I will suggest you to take a short term Diploma or certificate course in acting instead of looking for a full time Bachelors course. You should rather do your graduation in some other field simultaneously, as you cannot rely completely on acting as your career choice. If you want a career as an actor or a model, this course can help you. After completing your course, you can become an actor, a model, a screenplay writer, a theater artist, an anchor, or a TV host, etc. You may also proceed with a career in Radio as RJ, script writer, recording artist. Hi Krupali,
For pursuing acting as a career, You should have a zeal for acting and you may go for the short-term, certificate and Diploma courses offer by the various small and big banner schools in India. These courses cost around 35000 to 150000. Short term or certificate courses take about 3 months to maximum six months and Diploma courses take about 1-2 years. You can also pursue B.A. In performing arts and drama which is a 3 year graduation degree programme. For acting or topics related to cinema or TV, there is FTII at Pune. However, for learning guitar etc., you will have to search for a teacher in your town.
