The general Digital Hollywood University admission process is given as follows:
- Firstly, obtain a passport
- Then, take and pass the entrance exam
- Complete the enrollment procedures such as payment of the school fees, filling out the enrollment form, etc.
- Then, obtain a certificate of eligibility
- Next, arrange all the documents required for visa application
- Then, obtain a Japan Student Visa
- Take a flight and know about the accommodation

International students residing outside Japan must meet the following requirements to take admission to DHU University:
One of the following requirements:
- Must have completed Class 12 by March 2024 or must be in senior high school
- Must have completed a 12-year curriculum in an educational system or is scheduled to complete such a curriculum by March of the admission year
- The applicant is designated by the Minister of NEXT
- The applicant is recognised as having the academic ability equivalent to or higher than senior high school and will attain the age of 18 years by March of the admission year

Yes, Digital Hollywood University Tokyo offers full-ride scholarships to international students. Meaning, one scholarship is offered to international students that offers 100% of the tuition fee waiver. The amount of this scholarship is (1,040,000 yen). This is equivalent to INR 6.2 lakh. The period of this scholarship is 4 years. To avail this scholarship, the applicants must meet all the entry requirements. No, ACT does not refund the exam fee as the fee is generally non-refundable. The ACT exam fee for Indian and all other non-US students is USD 186.50 in 2025 (including only English, Reading and Maths sections).

The ACT exam fee structure has changed for Indian students in 2025. Now that the Science section of the ACT exam has also been made optional just like the Writing section, test takers can choos to pay for it or not. Here is the complete fee structure of ACT exam in 2025:

A Film and TV course will not help you get the right knowledge and skills in the field, but will also help you make and grow your industry network with industrial visits, internships, and placement opportunities.
