I would say that print has a better scope because you get job security in the same in which you sit inside an office or you do TV journalism. TV journalism and anchoring has better scope. TV Correspondent or the TV News Anchor is a celebrity and there is no denying that most of the Media Graduates die for this profile only. There are fewer people who will ignore but most of them ask about the salary. This is also an assignment based job where a job may not be possible.

There are several institutions which run short time courses in the field of Journalism and Mass Communication. In some institutions, classes are conducted only on weekends. These may also be taken under consideration. Please attend different workshops and conferences organized by universities which can improve you profile. In today's era of multi-tasking, one should learn the use of various editing software and video recording equipment such as camera. Here is the list of various subjects one can choose:

It is not only simply acting, but also involves a lot of efforts. Anchoring is another role in which one needs to host a show to make it more organized and in the same time more catchy and entertaining. Both these roles are not that easy to take up. As an actor, one needs to have more patience, persistence and confidence. As an anchor, one should have the courage and confidence to communicate with many people without fearing the camera.

Actually, they don't offer as such specific course in acting. but yes they are offering bachelors and masters in Journalism & Mass Communication. Then, maybe, there is a subject of cinema studies. Then only, you can learn and go through the syllabus of the same university either they have acting course or not.

Hello Raj,
I would like to tell you that in engineering colleges there is no acting course included. Yes, you can do one thing, you can join acting classes outside the college if it is available.
Good luck!

Hello there,
Yes, backup is much needed because learning acting is an expensive process, later on, it's not important that you'll get great roles and good earning into the industry. After graduation, join NSD, FTII, SRPA or SRFTI to learn the acting skills and join a theatre group to polish your skills, give audition as much as you can, be smart, be aware of everything.
Regards.
