You should understand that AME course ends with a graduation degree in B.Sc. After you clear BAMEC and a AME License after you clear BAMEL. The License is issued by DGCA and the degree is awarded by the conducting university / college. This License allows the candidate to work as an aircraft technician with any airline and further become an Aircraft Engineering for the same. Hence the course has got a very good scope as AME's are in demand provided you do the course with complete dedication and get the License issued by DGCA with all the approvals.

Hi, I recently completed Aeronautical/ Aerospace from PEC University, Chandigarh. Talking about the scenario of jobs, well I would say that at present, it is quite down mainly because:
1. In India, we either spend our money on either research or developing a product. Its RorD in India, not R&D, so at present we are researching. Hence if you wish to take up a job after BE then you have very few options.
2. After the GATE being made compulsory most of the students wait for PSUs like ADE/ADA/TBRL, NAL and HAL to come up with vacancies but it is not happening at the expected scale. SET (Scientist Entry test) and ROSSA was not conducted this

Hello, This question, the Hindustan University is not answering. It gives in detail everything else. Details of syllabus, career prospects, duration, facilities available. But I am afraid one has to go by the rule of thumb to find out about this.

This is a tough question. But you should know that both the fields have different end goals for a student, but can overlap in certain situations. Mechanical Engineering is a core branch and has been a favourite of students who wish to get into the aerospace and aeronautical industry. The reason is that it gives you a broader knowledge in the mechanical domain, which includes the aerospace domain as well. Another reason is that organizations in India, whether Public or Private, prefer mechanical engineers for their broad spectrum of knowledge. Aerospace engineering focuses more on the aerospace and aeronautics industry and is an apt cou

Hello Yuva,
Acharya as an institution has a fairly good academic reputation. Diploma is basically a skill imparting course. This institute has enough and appropriate labs for the requirement of Diploma courses.

Hello Jaswanth,
Firstly I would like to quite two proverbs: "There is always room at the top" & "where there is a will, there is a way". Presently, the job opportunities in India are indeed very less. But with time, I am sure these will keep improving. But do not confuse engineering with working on civil aircraft. For this, you have to do AME. But most importantly, select that path in life which you like. Select the branch that you like. Set aim and then work towards achieving it.
Best wishes.
