Every state has on the webpage of a table or matrix giving eligibility for lateral admission of different branches. I am afraid E&C perhaps may not make you eligible but I would like to advise you to continue in your present branch. Opportunities in aeronautical engineering branch are really less presently in India.

Your marks are indeed good. But unfortunately students obtaining marks more than 90% are in tens of thousands. As the admissions this year are based on marks of class 12th, you will have to try your luck. There is no precedence and nobody for sure can guess also! But you must register for admission to Anna University.

This institution located at Coimbatore imparts training for a student to become an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer or AME. The institute has good reputation and claims to have a very good placement record.
