Your rank is not that good. So, you might get admission in Institute of Aeronautical Engineering for B.Tech but you can try to get admission through management quota. With that, you might get admission.

Hello Vijay, You have not mentioned college name. But let me explain. Lateral admissions to 2nd year is an option available to Diploma holders. But number of seats is dependent on many factors. Each state has its own rules & you can check for your state on the website of dte of tech edu.

Of course, it is possible. You can seek lateral admission directly in 2nd year in your home state. You can join IIT too since they treat a Diploma as equivalent to 12th.
