Hello Harshdeep,It is quite late that I came across your query. But, all the same it may help others and hence I am trying to provide answer. Out of the branches, opportunities for place are least in Aerospace Engineering. Then comes chemical engineering. Mechanical engineering and Electrical engineering are having enough opportunities for employment. Hence, I feel that you should select either of these.

Hello Aakash,
DTE of tech education of each state has a matrix of eligibility for lateral admission on their website and I would recommend you to download it and read it carefully. Also it will tell you procedure of admission. But why Aerospace Engineering? Opportunities for placements are very low compared with EEC. I would strongly advise you to seek lateral admission in your own branch for a good career.

Hello Zuhair,
You can join engineering college only after appearing for CET of your state. But remember, only 45% fresh engineering graduates got placed last year. In addition after Aerospace Engineering, there is no guarantee of job. Do not mistake that you can get job in commercial airlines. For that you need to do AME.
Best wishes.

Hello Vallabh,
If one refers to dictionary or thesaurus, it gives out meaning. Practically speaking, aerospace is the name by which industry dealing in aero products is described, whereas aeronautical is the word utilized for describing education. But, in India both are used interchangeably.

Hello Divyam,
Aerospace Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering branch is similar to any other branch as far as seeking admission is concerned. You need to pass CET of your state for colleges in your state, JEE Advanced for IIT's and different CET's for each of the deemed to be universities. Depending on ranking, you will get admission. Best wishes.
