As per national data salary report for a bachelor degree holder your avg salary can be around $56,340 - $195,957 and around $118,040 for a MS holder. For Harvard its around $58,974 - $127,717. Aerospace engineering is concerned with designing and building aircraft and spacecraft. Aerospace engineering can be divided into two specializations: Aeronautical engineers handle design, manufacturing and maintenance of aircraft, helicopters & UAV etc and astronautically engineers, who design spacecraft, rockets, satellites, and others. Aeronautical engineering was the original term for the field. Both Aerospace Engineering and Aeronautical Engineers are niche branch of engineering with lot of similarities in syllabus with almost 90% overlap.

Normally, space is aerospace in Indian context. ISRO has sponsored one college of aerospace studies. However, there are other related topics too concerning space.

To get into IIT B, you have to clear two exams. Firstly JEE Mains and then JEE Advanced. Of course, you have to score above 75% in your 12th also. Then, for specific course in a specific IIT, you need to be in a relatively higher percentile bracket.
