Anna University is one of the best colleges for engineering in India.
It is known for old and architectural infrastructure faculty with great experience and knowledge facilities provided by it like sports complex, Wi-Fi and labs are well equipped by the instruments and machines.
There are many colleges which are affiliated to Anna University.

Agriculture, as well as chemicals both, constitute an essential part of one's life.
One fulfills the necessary food and grains necessary for living whereas the other constituting the products regarding daily care as well in medical purposes.
So both the branches find scope in the current and future world. One cannot distinguish both on the basis of the earnings as it may vary from person to person as well as locality.
Although it depends on person to person that which stream he/she wants to choose and want to pursue his or her career in.

The placement from TNAU for agricultural engineering is really very nice as compared to many other deemed educational institutions and private institutions teaching agriculture as a part of their syllabus. Being a central government-funded institution, it has a large syllabus and a great pool of knowledge from experienced and skilled faculty members. Also, the college is providing regular workshops and seminars to produce skilled farmers as well as agricultural corporates. Agricultural engineering is comparatively a newer branch but still has decent job prospects.
Government Departments where graduates may find jobs are Food Department, Research Departments, Dairy Boards (State wise), Coir Board, etc.
When it comes to the private sector, Fertilizer firms, Research and development firms, Agriculture Machinery manufacturing firms, Food Products Processing and Manufacturing firms, etc., are the prime recruiters.
Some agricultural engineers can look towards NGOs working in rural areas. Those interested in research activities can join IARI as the junior fellow researcher.
