The MCAER PG CET exam is conducted by the Maharashtra Agriculture Universities Examination Board (MAUEB). The MAUEB is a statutory body established under the Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Act, 1983. It is responsible for conducting common entrance tests for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) in Maharashtra.

The MCAER PG CET exam is a state-level entrance exam conducted annually to shortlist candidates for admission to postgraduate programs like Master of Science (MSc), Master of Technology (MTech), and Master of Fisheries Science (MFSc) offered at SAUs in Maharashtra.

The CG PAT examination is a multiple-choice question (MCQ) exam that covers a wide range of topics in Agriculture and allied sciences. The exam consists of 200 questions, each carrying one mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.

The types of questions asked in the CG PAT examination can be classified into three categories:

• Conceptual questions: These questions test the candidates' understanding of the basic concepts and principles of the subjects.
• Numerical questions: These questions require the candidates to apply their knowledge of the concepts and principles to solve numerical problems.

• Identify the key concepts and principles: Once you have understood the question, identify the key concepts and principles that are being tested. This will help you to choose the correct answer.
• Eliminate the incorrect options: If you are not sure about the correct answer, try to eliminate the incorrect options. This will increase your chances of choosing the correct answer.
• Use your knowledge and reasoning: If you are still not sure about the correct answer, use your knowledge and reasoning to choose the most likely answer.
• Don't leave any questions unanswered: There is no negative marking for incorrect answers in the CG PAT exam. Therefore, it is important to attempt all the questions, even if you are not sure about the answers.

The age limit for CG PAT 2024 exam is as follows:

• Minimum age: 16 years on or before December 31, 2023
• Maximum age: 25 years for General category candidates and 28 years for Reserved category candidates.

Reserved category candidates include candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), and Other Backward Classes (OBCs).

Candidates who do not meet the age limit will not be eligible to apply for the CG PAT 2024 exam.
