A score of around 90 percentile should definitely invoke a call provided academics are good (above 85% throughout). A background in agriculture/allied sector would give a slight advantage over other candidates provided one meets other requirements. However over the past few years there have been almost an equal strength of non-agri background students. Ideally if other conditions met, percentile should not fall below 85. Even if it fetches 80, there would be low chances of conversion, unless one is exceptionally good. So a percentile of 90 or above is a safe one.

You can choose any agri-sector qualification or Diploma as a parallel course. This will boost your profile while positioning you. But there is one thing I want to emphasize further or add: internship opportunities in this profession. MBA programs in agribusiness are quite uncommon and not particularly marketable in India nowadays. Therefore, you must guarantee the job search process, which is typically called "internship.
