The B.Sc. in Agriculture course at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) has stopped direct admissions since July 2023. The admission to the program, before it was discontinued, was based on marks in the 12th grade and performance in the entrance exam conducted by the university. With a KCET rank of 30,468 in Agriculture and 1,977 in Agriculture practicals, you stand quite a good chance of entry into some of the top colleges in Karnataka in Round 1. It'll all depend on the type of college, their past trends, and if the candidate is flexible with different branches under agriculture or even other sister fields. In JET for UG agriculture programs, out of these 5 subjects: Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.
You have to select any three subjetcs, so since you already have knowledge of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. I would suggest you to with thses three subjetcs.
But keep in mind:
- Sometimes there are courses those have specific subjet requirements, like B.Tech in Food Technology madates students to have studied, physics, chemistry and mathematics. So you can't get this course with PCB.

As of December 18, 2024, the University of Calcutta has not yet announced the admission dates for the Postgraduate (PG) Agriculture programs for the 2025 academic session. In the previous cycle, the university extended the application deadline to September 13, 2024, for M.Sc. and B.Tech. admissions, including those in Agricultural Sciences.
