With a KCET rank of 30,468 in Agriculture and 1,977 in Agriculture practicals, you stand quite a good chance of entry into some of the top colleges in Karnataka in Round 1. It'll all depend on the type of college, their past trends, and if the candidate is flexible with different branches under agriculture or even other sister fields. Keeping an ear for college-specific seat availability notice would be a good idea.

Mizoram University does not offer a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Agriculture. However, it provides related programs such as M.Sc. in Horticulture, Aromatic & Medicinal Plants, and M.Sc. in Forestry.

For B.Sc. Agriculture, you might consider the College of Agriculture in Thenzawl, Mizoram, which is affiliated with the Central Agricultural University, Imphal.

Additionally, the Department of Higher and Technical Education, Mizoram, lists several institutions offering B.Sc. Agriculture seats for Mizoram residents under the State Medical and Technical Entrance Examination (SMATEE) seat matrix.

For the most accurate and up-t

In JET for UG agriculture programs, out of these 5 subjects: Agriculture, Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.

You have to select any three subjetcs, so since you already have knowledge of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. I would suggest you to with thses three subjetcs.

But keep in mind:

  • Sometimes there are courses those have specific subjet requirements, like B.Tech in Food Technology madates students to have studied, physics, chemistry and mathematics. So you can't get this course with PCB.

With a rank of 36,750 in TS EAMCET, getting a free (sponsored by the government) seat for Agriculture or Pharmacy in top colleges would not be possible. You still have chances in lower rank or private colleges with the government quota. The Government quota seats for Agriculture and Pharmacy are usually allocated considering the rank and category that is General, SC, ST, OBC respectively. You can go through options in government and affiliated private colleges offering the same, which also enlist the counselling process for your rank range and seat availability. Cut-off for M.Sc. Agriculture Agronomy in AMU is conducted based on results from entrance examinations conducted in AMU. Typically, the cutoff tends to rely on factors that range from applicant number, how rigorous an examination turns out to be, and even the seats available. From the previous years, one could conclude that the cut-off tends to be from 50% to 70% for entrance exams for other courses in this category as well. The cutoff for this M.Sc. in Agriculture Agronomy program should, however, be fetched from the website of the authentic site of the university or call the offices of the admission to the specific university.
