There are more than 100 colleges in Maharashtra that offer BSc Agriculture courses. Out of these 100, students can opt for 19 private colleges and 7 government colleges. Maharana pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT) in Udaipur, Rajasthan is ranked highly in the agricultural and veterinary university category across over India.And the ranking varies according to several other things like MPUAT is ranked first in Rajasthan and 15th in India by the Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR). And in  2024, MPUAT was ranked in the 51–100 range in the "State Public University" category by NIRF. The placements for BSc (Honors) in Agriculture at MPUAT is pretty good too I mean almost 40-50% students gets placements according to my research and my intel and primarily in companies like Hindustan Zinc, Vedanta, local NGOs, and other agriculture-related industries; the average salary package falls within the range of 4.5 - 6 LPA and much more too.which includes Job opportunities like  Marketing managers, salesmen, and other agriculture-related positions are commonly offered.

To get B.Sc (Honors) in Agriculture at MPUAT we have maintain our score Above 80% which is Same as any other colleges but there are some extra criteria too which include things like 1.Should Pass 12th standard with at least 50% marks. 2.Should Pass 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Agriculture/Inter-Agriculture as core courses. 3.Must have studied PCB/PCMB/PCM/Physics, Chemistry, Agriculture Biology/Agriculture stream as essential subjects at 12th Standard. 4.Should not have any compartments or supplements in any of the subjects

The Freeship Card together with comparable advantages are offered to students from reserved categories (SC, ST, OBC) through state government regulations.

The university admission office or financial aid department of Anand Agricultural University holds all the details about SC student fee waivers so contact them directly to learn about specific benefits and Freeship Card usage. The guidelines about application and benefit availment will be provided by them.
