AILET is generally tougher than CLAT due to its higher competition and limited seats. CLAT offers around 3,000 seats across 24 NLUs, while AILET is exclusively for NLU Delhi with only ~120 seats, making the acceptance rate much lower. Additionally, AILET has 150 questions in 90 minutes, requiring faster problem-solving, whereas CLAT has 120 questions in 120 minutes. AILET also lacks a Legal Reasoning section, making English and Logical Reasoning more challenging. However, CLAT's passage-based format tests comprehension depth. Overall, AILET is tougher due to time constraints and high competition.
