Alagappa University BCom graudates can either opt for higher studies or desired job profile. The graduates can opt for MCom programme as well, as it is an enhanced version of the UG course. MCom is the perfect programme for students wanting to pursue a doctorate in business. Apart from this, there are other professional degree courses available as well, such as:

Alagappa University has not released a concise placements report for the BCom placed students. As per the NIRF report 2024 of the university, 61 UG (3-year) students were placed, out of 216. Moreover, the median package offered to the students stood at INR 1.27 LPA. Some of the top companies that participate in its placements drive are TCS, Cognizant, ICICI Bank, Wipro, etc.

Yes, Alagappa University reserves 5% of seats for the differently-abled students (Government Letter No.12599/K2/2017-1, dated 21.07.2017). The university also allot seats as per the reservation policy of the Government of Tamil Nadu. Moreover, the seat intake varies depending upon the BA course mode of study, college, and category of the candidate.
