AMU Management ranking by India Today is 132 out of 272 in India in 2023 and it was ranked 133 out of 281 in India in 2022. AMU Management ranking by NIRF is 55 out of 125 in India in 2023 and it was ranked 57 out of 125 in India in 2022. AMU Management ranking by IIRF is 39 out of 44 in India in 2023 and it was ranked 38 out of 42 in India in 2022. Candidate should have passed Bachelor's Degree in Commerce / Arts / Science / Social Science with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA.

Aligarh Muslim University offers an MBA (General), MBA in Hospital Administration, MBA in Islamic Banking & Finance and MBA in International Business at the postgraduate level for a duration of two years each. AMU admission to all these courses is completely entrance-based and depends' on candidates' performance in CAT or an online written test, conducted by the University. Candidates seeking admission to any of the above-mentioned AMU MBA courses must have passed graduation in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

AMU conducts its own entrance test called Aligarh Muslim University Common Admission Test (AMU-CAT) for admission to the MBA course. The Admission Test shall be held at Aligarh, Kolkata & Kozhikode. Based on the marks secured by the candidates in the AMU-CAT entrance test, a merit list for admission will be drawn. Candidates whose names appear in the merit list released by the University are then required to appear for the Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GD & PI) round. The final selection is based on the candidates' performance in the counselling process, conducted by AMU.

Given below are the list documents required during the MBA admission process at AMU:
- Marks sheet/grade sheet of qualifying examination (with FOUR Self-attested photocopies)
- Transfer / Migration and Character Certificate from the Institution last attended (if not enrolled at AMU)
- Class 10, 12 & graduation certificate or its equivalent in support of the date of birth.
- FIVE (2.5 x 3.0 cms) recent front-facing colour photographs (in white background).

Visit the website.
Click on the Admission option available on the taskbar
On the redirected page, go to admission and select "General admissions" from the drop-down.

Admission to the AMU MBA is done based on the performance of the candidates in AMU CAT.The competition level is high for Aligarh Muslim University MBA admission and it is also reflected in the entrance exam conducted by AMU for admission to the MBA programme. The entrance exam is a computer-based test consisting of 100 questions (1 mark each), divided into four sections and they are as under:
- Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension: 25 Marks
