To apply for the UPSC Civil Services Exam (CSE), you have to be an Indian citizen, with a Bachelor degree of any recognised university (minimum percentage of marks is not applicable), who are also aged between 21 and 32 years as of August 1 st of that year of the exam, and age relaxation would apply to OBC (3 years), SC/ST (5 years). In order to get admission in the BTech course at Allahabad University the candidates must have apperared for the JEE Mains exam and secured valid score. The obtained scores in JEE exam should be in accordance to the accepting criteria of the college. Additionally, 75% aggregate in the class 12 exams is a pre-requisite.

The seat allotment at the university is done based on candidates' scores in the CUET exam. Allahabad University shall reserve the right to revise the seat intake. The reservation criteria for different categories in Allahabad University are mentioned below in a tabular form:

LL.B at Allahabad University Law Faculty have different eligibility criteria. Students must need clear Class 12 with 45% aggregate for the general category. There is a 5% relaxation for SC/ST and a 3% relaxation for OBC candidates. Students also need to pass the Central University Common Entrance Test (CUET). There is always a minimum score set in the law domain test for students to score. Moreover, the university is open to accepting the various boards for 12th Class scores. It includes CBSE, UP Board and ISC.
