Lateral entry is specifically for Diploma students if you are already pursuing engineering then it will be referred to as a college change.
And college change or university change after the first year is completely dependent on college and university norms, some universities allow it and some won't plus you need to have good scores in the first year to apply for the same. For further details, contact the college authorities.

Hello, Amity is a big name in the field of education today. Of course hard work over the years by faculty and all those associated with this institute. Amity has also strives to establish it's campuses all over India and that too as per the best world standards. The result is there to see. About one and a half lacs students on its rolls at any given time! M.Des at its Mumbai campus is a course that is covered by students. Yes, of course. If you are a civil engineering graduate and you are willing, go with this. It's a good opportunity for you. Lot of opportunities are awaiting you. Major placement opportunities are from famous builders and contracting companies. Its a rare course and if you get placement from the college itself, it can make you successful. So, try for a good campus rather than ordinary one for the construction management.

Yes Nivedita, if the student has cleared 12th with a recognised board then he/she can pursue Bachelor of interior designing from Amity University.
