If you have a Bachelor's degree in Mass Media or Communication, it would be helpful and the institute can train you with practical knowledge. So, doing both will be helpful and at the same time, your job will be secured.

Hi Shubham!
PG Diploma in Journalism course has Television, Radio and Print as a part of its curriculum while PG Diploma in TV and Radio Journalism is completely about electronic media. Though you can opt for any of these courses but TV and Radio Journalism would be preferable.

Hi Raminder!
Sadhna Academy has two courses:
1. Diploma in Anchoring, Reporting and TV Production
2. Diploma in Anchoring and Reporting
Both are 1-year diploma course and both courses will help you to become a news anchor/reporter. The former course has TV production as an extra element but you can choose either of the courses if anchoring is your only objective.

You think you are talkative and can entertain people with your talks? Well, you are qualified to be a VJ. You must be camera friendly and confident. Little personality, good delivery and presentation is the key. Keep it interesting and being yourself will make your things easier. Along with that, excellent body language and dress sense, a pleasant voice, good command over the required language depending on the medium, presence of mind and a good knowledge of music would be good for anyone who aspires to be a Video Jockey. Do read my answer to the question 'How to Be a VJ and what salary to expect?'.

The VJ job is informal and carries some casual aspect of presentation whereas, a news presenter is to be a formal, disciplined, strong and firm in communication, balanced in opinion as well as highly informed about topics of politics, social matters, education, economics and others. Basically, general awareness is needed. Formal mass media education, electronic m

This question needs two submissions from the student's side:
1. what are the academic or educational credentials of the person?
2. Based on what skills, expertise, experience and appearance does the aspiring video jockey wants to claim the job?
Answer by assuming that the person is having some substantial education like graduation or something which makes him or her a literate person. I shall not recommend the observation that even an illiterate person can become an VJ. So proper education, excellent language skills in the targeted or demanded language, fluency in speaking, sense of humor and courtesy, improvisation in the live speech,

Hi Dipanshu!
To become an anchor, you do not need any educational qualification as such. It is a talent-based profession, it requires a good command over language and a sense of humour. An anchor must maintain wit and humour at all times to make up for any slip of tongue that they may make. It is of utmost importance to have good communication skills and fluent language. In order to become a reporter, you need to have a journalism degree or Diploma because the news channels hire only professionals with media related education background.

NDTV and Zee TV have their own courses run by themselves. Both are in great demand in the job market. Plus there is a central government owned Film and Television institute in Pune. Try your luck.
