I suggest, understanding the course curriculum syllabus first, before joining any institution or university of your choice. Make a deliberate attempt to relate the same to any career options that you wish to venture in post completion of your degree or course. Prefer doing it from a place which has a good number of work options or media organizations in proximity. Metro cities shall be good options.
Do research for the kind of work profiles available in this industry to make a career. You may consider visiting RK Films and Media Academy in Delhi (RKFMA) for any support or pursuing specialized programs.

I have to be honest with you, I can only answer questions about my college and any courses that it may offer. I don't have a deep understanding of how this industry works, considering I'm only a 3rd semester student myself.
