There is no fixed number of hours, but a dedicated 5-6 hours of focused study every day, including regular breaks, can be effective. It's important to balance conceptual understanding with problem-solving practice. The candidates must try to balance between board exam studies and AP EAMCET entrance exam preparation.

NCERT textbooks form the foundation for many concepts, especially in Physics and Chemistry. However, candidates should also refer to additional reference books for numerical practice and advanced questions to get familiar with the AP EAMCET exam level. Candidates should practice questions from previous year question papers to get familiar with the exam pattern, most frequently asked questions and time management.

No, there is no negative marking in the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET exam. For every correct answer, candidates receive one mark, but no marks are deducted for incorrect responses or unanswered questions. This applies to both the engineering and agriculture streams of the exam.

The number of months the candidates must prepare for AP EAMCET depends on the learning style and background knowledge of the student. More than 6 months of preparation are required to have a solid understanding of all the topics. For the majority of students, however, four to six months is usually considered adequate. Students who have already finished the syllabus and require only review need only a month to prepare for the exam.
