No age restriction exists for taking the APTET exam. A candidate may take the Andhra Pradesh TET test if they meet the requirements for educational eligibility. Nonetheless, there are age restrictions for the teacher recruiting exam. In order to be eligible to take the Andhra Pradesh government's teacher recruitment exam, candidates must meet both the educational requirements and the age limit.

APTET exam qualification does not ensure employment. It is merely one of the requirements for eligibility in the hiring process for teachers. Candidates will be able to apply for the recruitment exams once they have passed the exam. Candidates who pass the APTET recruitment exam will be hired as primary or upper primary teachers at APTET institutions.

Applying for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) does not need having an Aadhaar card. To apply for the exam, candidates may provide any legitimate photo identification document, such as a passport, voter ID, PAN card, driver's licence, or other document issued by the government. The applicant must make sure that the information on the application form matches the information on their Aadhaar card, though, if they wish to use it as identification. It is a good idea to review the official exam notification to find out which identity documents are accepted and how to submit them while completing the application.

No, the syllabus is not same for Paper 1 and Paper 2 in the APTET exam. The exam assesses the eligibility of teachers for different stages (Primary and Upper Primary) and subjects. Therefore, the syllabus varies depending on the specific paper you're taking.

Paper 1 (For Primary Schools):

  • Child Development and Pedagogy
  • Language 1 (Telugu/Tamil/Oriya/Sanskrit) (chosen by you)
  • Language 2 (English)
  • Mathematics
  • Environmental Studies

Paper 2 (For Upper Primary Schools):

  • Child Development and Pedagogy (Part A: Regular Teachers, Part B: Special Education Teachers)
  • Language 1 (Telugu/Tamil/Oriya/Sanskrit) (chosen by you)
  • Language 2 (English)
  • Mathematics
...more

It is anticipated that the Andhra Pradesh TET exam will be held annually. On the other hand, the 2023 Andhra Pradesh TET was conducted. The Andhra Pradesh TET test is probably going to be administered by the Andhra Pradesh DSC in 2024. The Andhra Pradesh government's Department of School Education will shortly release the Andhra Pradesh TET announcement 2024. August 2022 marked the date of the most recent APTET exam administration. The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) was administered in 2018 prior to that.
