AP TET notification 2025 was released on October 24, 2025. The APTET notification 2025 has been issued on the exam website. The Andhra Pradesh TET 2025 notification contains important details regarding the exam including exam date, eligibility criteria, application process, exam pattern, syllabus and others. The APTET (Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) exam consists of two papers - Paper I and Paper II. It is mandatory for candidates who wish to be considered for the post of teacher in classes 1 to 5 to appear for Paper I, and for those who wish to be considered for the post of teacher in classes 6 to 8 to appear for Paper II. However, candidates who wish to be considered for both levels can appear for both papers.  It is not mandatory to appear for both papers, but it is recommended if you want to be eligible for both levels of teaching. If you reach the APTET exam center after the exam begins, you will not be allowed to enter the examination hall. The reporting time and gate closing time are mentioned on the APTET admit card for the candidate's reference. Candidates are advised to reach the exam center well before the reporting time to avoid any last-minute hassles. The APTET answer key calculation is done using the following formula:
Total marks = (Number of correct answers x 1) - (Number of incorrect answers x 0.25)
For example, if a candidate has answered 100 questions in total, out of which 80 are correct and 20 are incorrect, then the calculation for their total marks would be:
Total marks = (80 x 1) - (20 x 0.25)
Total marks = 80 - 5
Total marks = 75
Therefore, the candidate's total marks would be 75 out of 150.

To calculate APTET marks from APTET answer key, follow the below steps:
1. Download the APTET answer key from the official website.
2. Compare your answers with the answer key and mark the correct answers.
3. Calculate the total number of correct answers.
4. As per the APTET marking scheme, each question carries one mark.
5. The minimum qualifying marks for APTET is 60%.
6. Total marks secured = Number of correct answers x 1.
7. If the total marks secured is equals to or more than the minimum qualifying marks, then the candidate is considered qualified in APTET.
