Yes, an Arts student can pursue Applied Psychology courses. As per the basic eligibility for Applied Psychology courses, a candidate from any stream in Class 12 can apply for the course. Candidates are advised to refer to the marks criteria for admission in Applied Psychology courses. Applied Psychology is available as a specialisation in various Arts and Science courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. One can also study Applied Psychology courses as a specialisation in PG Diploma and also can pursue a PhD in Applied Psychology.

The field uses a problem solving approach and aims to find solutions to issues associated with human psychology and behavior. While Psychology is theoretical in nature, Applied Psychology involves the study of theories followed by its applications. Candidates interested to pursue Applied Psychology should be a graduate in any discipline with 45% marks. 5% relaxation for SC/ST students. However, candidates should refer the SHiksha's page or the official website of the exam to know more about PUCAT exam.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the deadline for registration and application for KCET 2024 until February 20, 2024

Candidates who have not yet applied for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test can now do so by visiting the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. The application process started on January 10, 2024, and candidates can make the payment of application fees until February 23, 2024, through the website

If you haven't applied for the KCET examination yet, you have until February 20, 2024, to complete your registration and application process.
