There are various colleges and institutes in Maharashtra which offer degree courses in archaeology. Among them, most well-known are the University of Mumbai, offering Master of Arts in Archaeology, and Deccan College Postgraduate and Research Institute at Pune, focusing on advanced courses in archaeology and ancient history. The Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, in Aurangabad, offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in archaeology. Yes, you can pursue an Archaeology course after completing your B.Sc with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) subjects. Most Archaeology programs at the undergraduate level require a 10+2 qualification in any stream, so your B.Sc background is acceptable

It is the eligibility criteria for joining an MA for Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology at Visva Bharati University after completing a BA in English (Hons). The MA functionally is open to students with history or related degrees, but from the possible extended eligibility for certain students, those from other educational backgrounds might also be accepted depending on university requirements. Well, this is a very subjective question. Some candidates would prefer Diploma in Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology because the coursework perfectly aligns with their interests in literature, archaeological heritage and Indian culture. Also, it is conducted in an online mode for the duration of one year.
