There is vast difference between an architect and a civil engineer. In short, an Architect designs, executes and supervises a project, where as a civil engineer is responsible for onsite construction of a project.

A fresher architect would earn around 2 - 2.5LPA. An Architect with over 5 years of experience will earn around 9.5 - 10 LPA. An Architect with over 10 years of experience will earn around 14.5 - 15LPA. With increase in experience the salary packages of an Architect grows.

You will have to pursue Computer Science and allied courses along with specializations in Masters to be a software architect.

I am sure you have had Landscape Architecture and Interior Designing as core subjects or as electives during your academic tenure of B.Arch. Which subject among the two you liked would be a better approach to choose these specialisation. Masters in Landscape means large scale projects, whereas interior design is much smaller in scale, so it depends purely on your interests.

There are a lot of online courses and some certification courses, but all those won't give you a registration to practice in the field. You will have to pursue B.Arch and then specialize in the field of your choice, such as Architecture conservation, Digital Architecture, Urban Design, Urban Planning, Habitat Design, etc.
