A fresher architect would earn around 2 - 2.5 LPA. An Architect with over 5 years of experience will earn around 9.5 - 10 LPA. An Architect with over 10 years of experience will earn around 14.5 - 15LPA. With increase in experience the salary packages of an Architect grows in India and around the world.

With such a huge experience, a masters in Real Estate management/ infrastructure management offered by NICMAR would be a big boost in career, since it will open up new opportunities increasing the scale of your work and also would allow you to bid for infrastructure projects.

Yes, there is a lot of vacancy in the Indian army for Architects, but we have a severe shortage of Architects. Every year the army calls for Architect positions vacancy and hardly 2 or 3 only fill up.

You need to pursue B.Arch course to be an Architect in India. Procedure for that would be - Register for NATA exams/JEE paper 2 exams and qualify in it to seek admission to a 5 year B.Arch Degree course, once the course is completed you become an Architect. Architecture has better scope and prospects compared to BBA+MBA, but both are very different fields to compare. It purely depends on your interest to choose a course.

Civil engineering and Architecture are two different courses, and there is no course which has come as an amalgamation of the two, but yes, its a good idea to have such a course.

There are few universities like PES which offer scholarships to students based on performance in every semester in Architecture for all 5 years.
