Hi,
If your drawing skills are good, then yes you should give a try to write NATA exams. NATA exams have 80 marks for drawing and 120 for aptitude. By reading a few books that make you prepared for Aptitude, you can easily score in that. Drawing skills are very difficult to obtain for a regular candidate since it only comes by practice. After you qualify in NATA you will be trained in an Architecture school to do Architectural drawings.

Hi,
Yes, there are Architecture firms having an annual turnover of more than a crore. It purely depends on the design style and execution team than the experience. If a design style is great and loved by many then even a young Architectural firm can have a turnover of more than a crore and there are many examples of the same.

No, an undergraduate civil engineer cannot be an Architect. He will have to go through 5 years of B.Arch degree course again to be an Architect. The Pros would include many, in short An architect would design rather than just execution on site like a civil engineer. Cons in your case would include investing 5 years more. Its like a double degree.
