The students who are admitted from DCET are admitted directly to third semester as lateral entry students from third semester on wards their subject syllabus will be same as those regular students who are admitted to first semester from CET examination. The examination norms of university which are applicable to regular students are also applicable to Diploma based lateral entry students. Only additional mathematics subject called dip. Maths should be additionally taken by lateral entry students. In addition two more subjects namely constitutio of India, Environmental engineering has to be taken. But the students should pass these subjects any time before their final semester examination. The eligibility criteria is also same for lateral entry students as applicable to regular students.
