Making it as an actor takes talent, but pure luck plays a major role in getting your big break. You might be tempted to jump right into the audition process, but if you are a beginner with no training, the best thing you can do is find some sort of acting class. Most actors have spent years training to become even good enough for small parts. Educational Requirements to pursue music therapy as a career:
Music therapists being musicians as well as therapists, a background in music and love of music is essential. In India, it is an emerging field and graduate or post graduate courses in Music therapy are rare. But Diploma and certificate courses are available. Abroad, becoming a music therapist involves obtaining a Bachelor's degree or higher in music therapy and obtaining certification through the Certification Board for Music Therapists.
