Hi,
Undergraduate degree in physics is the obvious choice, though astronomy and astrophysics courses will be taught in your bachelors you should target for more specialized Master's in this subject and as also a Ph.D. for better prospects. Abroad is a wide term, you should specify your country choice for college options.

Hi Kashish,
If you haven't done your UG, you should apply for Bachelor degree programs and major in Physics. Astronomy, Astrophysics can be opted as specialised Masters after you complete your Bachelor degree.

The Indian Institute of Astrophysics is a premier institute devoted to research in astronomy, astrophysics, and related physics. This is a full-time research programme wherein the students work towards their Ph.D degree under the supervision of an IIA faculty. Students may join the programme in either the first semester beginning in August or the second semester beginning in January. The entrance examination is held in December followed by an an interview in January. Students passing the JEST exam are interviewed in May/June. You can plan your education to fulfill your dream.

For physics and astronomy you can check universities in US, UK, Russia, Japan and Germany and also India. Harvard, MIT, Kyoto University, Technical University of Munich, Ludwig - Maximilians - Universitt Mnchen, California Institute of Technology (Caltech) are some of the very famous universities.
