An airline pilot requires a Bachelor's degree in any subject, whereas a commercial pilot usually needs a high school Diploma or equivalent. Some of the flight schools are part of 2-4 year colleges/universities offering the desired aviation or aeronautics degree, approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Given that aviation management is reaching new heights daily, there is a huge future for it. Aviation management include ground operations, fleet management, ticketing, the international tourist board, hospitality, and in-flight services. Students enrolled in the BBA in Airport Management programme will learn how to manage workers, interact with technical departments like Air Traffic Control and Maintenance, coordinate all of them, handle budgets, etc.

Both are great alternatives, however since it is my decision, I would personally go with aviation and airport management. Your preference may influence your decision. I would like to let you know that degrees in the airline industry often last three years, whereas degrees in hotel management are more likely to last between three and four years. Despite having the longer gestation period of the two, a degree in hotel management can help you get a job in the aviation and hospitality industries as well. So go for whatever suits you after all its your life and trust me you are going to do great with it.
