In India, there are various pilot training Institutions that provide various training courses. The training courses that are offered by the institutions are given here. You can pursue for these trainingcourses after 12th. Training Courses:
Student Pilot License:The duration of this course is six months. Private Pilot License:It is one year duration course. Commercial Pilot License:The duration of this course is three years. Through these training courses, you can only allow to fly as a co-pilot. If you interested to fly as a captain then, you have to need an Airline Transport Pilots License.

Hello,
The following are the items that you need to know to become a pilot:
1. You need to first possess a student pilot license. You must be over 17 years of age and have completed class 12th with Science (Physics and mathematics) with 50%.
2. Your vision in one eye must be perfect. In general medical terminology, it is called 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9 which must be correctable to 6/6.
3. General physical fitness is mandatory. You must be free of any disease that can hamper normal function.

The entry-level salary for domestic airlines is around 2540K. Few of the salaries of domestic airlines are Spicejet: 35500, Air India: 42750, Vistara Airlines: 30050, IndiGo: 33750, Jet Airways: 36455, GoAir: 31175, Jackson Airlines: 28450, etc. In international airlines, the salaries are around 30-75K. This can even reach up to 1-2 lacs per month.
