As we know, India has more aircraft. Aircraft is a complex machine, which needs a regular maintenance and this maintenance is done by Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME). Aircraft Maintenance Engineers are responsible for the security, safety and maintenance of an aircraft.

To get admission in AME institute there is a famous national level common entrance test through which candidate get admission in DGCA approved AME institute and the name of this test is Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Common Entrance Test (AME CET 2018).

Air traffic controllers help guide planes both in the sky and on the ground. They use technology that allows them to see all air traffic in a given area, and it is their responsibility to coordinate that traffic to ensure each flight takes off, lands, or passes through safely. Air traffic controllers communicate with pilots, telling them when to take off and land, and alerting them to issues with the weather and on the ground at the airport. They also direct the activities of airport personnel on the ground. Different kinds of air traffic controllers have their own sets of responsibilities and work in different settings. Those who work in airport control towers may be responsible for directing activity on the runway or for making sure planes in the sky stay a safe distance away from each other. Others work in air traffic control centers between airports monitoring and guiding the traffic going through their airspace. Certification or license requirements:

Basic prerequisites to pursue a career as a pilot is mentioned below:
You must complete Class XII under the 10+2 system, or its equivalent with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in Maths and Physics. You must be at least 16 years of age to be eligible for a Student Pilot License, 17 years of age for a Private Pilot License, and 18 years of age for a Commercial Pilot License. Alternatively, you could directly enroll for the Private Pilot License once you have cleared Class XII and are 17 years old. This involves taking an exam conducted by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation* consisting of theory papers on air navigation, aviation meteorology, air regulation and technical aspects. Your vision in one eye must be perfect. In general medical terminology, it is called 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6. General physical fitness is mandatory. You must be free of any disease that can hamper normal function. You need to complete the requisite number of hours, clear written papers and the medical examination. You need 70 percent marks to pass in each of these papers.
