Hi,
If you are willing to work in other sector, then why are you opting for aviation? After studying particular specialization, you will get job in same stream. If you want to work in other stream, then it will be difficult for you to get a job.

It's better if you take a commercial pilot license as that will eventually help you in a longer run.

If your aim is to just get a commercial pilots license, the cost could be about 30 Lacs in Indian rupees. Of course, different flight schools charge differently. If you are talking about getting a job as a pilot in an airline or such company, you might have to spend almost an equal amount to train on the particular type of aircraft that the particular company flies. Depending on the type of aircraft, and the exact place where you would undergo the training, the cost could vary between just about 10 Lacs INR to almost 50 Lacs INR.

Both have scope and employment also. But it's all up to you which one you like. If you love flying across the world then choose a career as the commercial pilot and if you love to tackle the sea then merchant navy is for you.

There is no comparison between engineering and pilot if you want to work as the person who designs things then choose engineering and if you want to serve others then choose a career as a pilot. In engineering also you study aerodynamics but in CPL, you get practical knowledge.
