Most of the airlines in India have an approval for their own training establishments to train flight dispatchers, usually as an upgrade to their existing operations executives. A self-sponsored flight dispatcher course in other institutes without being employed at the moment is not a great idea in my opinion. Since, it involves passing DGCA exams and an OJT after which would be the viva to be approved as a dispatcher on a particular type of aircraft.

The fee is different for the various courses. In case of a pilot, it can range up to Rs.30 lakhs. Whereas, for cabin crew training, it is around Rs.5 lakhs to Rs.8 lakhs.

The general eligibility criterion for Air Hostess in the majority of airlines is as follows: (a) 10+2 pass from a recognised board of education. Some airlines prefer graduates.(b) Age of candidate should be between 18 to 25 years (c) Min height required is 157.5 centimetres and weight should be in proportion to height(d) Good Communication skills with mastery over spoken Hindi, English. Foreign language certification will be a good additional qualification. Based on your height, you may not be eligible for the job of an air hostess.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineering diploma, Aeronautical Engineering, BBA and MBA in Aviation Management, Courses for Air Hostess Training, Pilot Training courses, Cargo and Dangerous Goods handling course, Safety Management Course, Airport Construction and Development Course etc. Ir depends in which field you want to make your career. For CPL training, you have to apply for Student Pilot License (SPL) after class 12th with Physics and Maths as subjects in class 12th or Science stream. After SPL, you can apply for Private Pilot Licence and after attaining 250 flying hours, you can go for CPL training and licence.
