The eligibility criteria for B.A. programme offered by School of Arts and Sciences Ahmedabad University is pass in class 12 from a recognised board with English as first/second language. The art stream at the school level is not compulsory.

Candidates seeking admission to PSG Institute of Advanced Studies BA (H) programmes should have passed Class 12 or equivalent to be eligible. The qualifying examination should have been passed from CBSE or the Tamil Nadu Government examinations. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 from a recognised Board with at least 60% aggregate (Best of three subjects) and English as compulsory subject (58% aggregate for wards of Defence Personnel and PwD category candidates and 55% aggregate for SC/ ST and wards of Kashmiri migrant candidates) or must obtain a minimum score of 24 in IB Board can apply for admission to the Bennett University BA course.

Shiv Nadar University BA admissions are made based on merit in SNUSAT. Thus, interested students must regsiter for SNUSAT exam. Moreover, to be eligible to apply for SNUSAT, students must have passed Class 12 with at least 65 percent marks in aggregate. Also, the students must have have studied English as a mandatory subject in Class 12.
