After filling out the application form for NLU Kolkata BA LLB (H) admissions,  students must participate in the subsequent CLAT counselling process. Those who are allocated a seat are required to pay a certain amount of fee to confirm the admission. As per official sources, the admission fee to submit is INR 15,000. Students may also be required to submit the first installment of the tuition fees.

Note: The fee mentioned above is as per the official sources. However, it is indicative and subject to change.

Admissions to the Kumaun University BA LLB course are merit-based. Candidates must have Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for reserved categories) with any stream from a recognised board of education. Eligible candidates can apply directly through the official website of the university. For the admission process, the university releases the merit on the basis of candidates' achieved scores in Class 12 or equivalent.

No, CLAT is not compulsory to get admissions into the BA LLB course at Kumaun University. Because the institute and its affiliated college grant merit-based admissions, and the institute accepts the relevant scores of candidates' Class 12 results, therefore, CLAT is neither mentioned in the selection process nor compulsory to get admissions into the course.

Kumaun University offers a total number of 360 seats. On the other hand, Jigyasa University offers 60 seats for the BA LLB course. The reason for this difference in seat intake is because Kumaun University offers BA LLB seats through its affiliated colleges too, and Jugyasa University only offers BA LLB seats through the university's campus.
