BA Psychology is a 3-year UG course that is offered by many colleges in India. The basic eligibility for pursuing this course is a 10+2 qualification. The student should have qualified senior secondary with a minimum of at least 45% marks. Students don't need to study Psychology at the school level, but most colleges require students to have studied English as a core subject.

Yes, 12th Science students can get into BA Psychology from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. The BSW programme is what Tata Institute of Social Sciences provides and several related programmes as well where psychology forms part of that course curriculum. But if specifically a student is enrolling into the BA psychology course then a 12th Science or arts or even commerce with the right score as laid out by Tata Institute of Social Sciences eligibility criterion can pursue. Generally, one is not allowed to change category in the in-house form for BA Psychology at Mithibai College after the last date of submission. Most colleges like Mithibai tend to have very strict deadlines for filing applications and changes in categories also because of administrative procedures. The cutoff for 2024-25 is expected to be similar or slightly higher due to increasing competition.
